Little children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, if you love My Son, you love your neighbor. If you do not love your neighbor, it is because you do not love My Son Jesus with a sincere love. Love one another, this is God's teaching.
Charity, little children, practice charity, for it makes you grow in the eyes of God. Do not be content with words, but take action, especially during this time of Lent. Those who practice charity will be seen by Jesus, and what they have given will be returned to them beyond their expectations.
Charity must be lived so that God may feel it. It must be an expression of your faith and your hopes in His Fatherly heart. Charity must be selfless; it is an invitation to love and humility that seeks to imitate the love of God.
Practice charity, little children, for many around you are in pain, many around you carry very heavy secrets that they do not want to talk about because they do not want to expose themselves.
So do not practice charity only by helping those in need financially, but know how to detect in the eyes and attitudes of some the distress they show, a distress that keeps them awake at night, a distress that makes them cry when they are alone, when they know that no one can see them, an immeasurable distress, because their hearts are broken by so much wickedness or misunderstanding around them.
We are halfway through Lent, do not forget this little word “charity,” do not forget this little word “love of neighbor,” do not forget this little word “humility.” Go to others, help them; understand them so that they may feel in you the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of My beloved Son.
This is My message to you this evening, little children.
Thank you for coming to meet Me, and be blessed in the love and charity of the Heart of My Son Jesus Christ, your Lord.
Mary, Mother of Christian Charity
